The focus of this year’s conference is on “Innovation for Growth” in Latin America, it is aimed to discuss how innovation is a key driver for development in the region and present the perspectives from leaders of the economic, political and academic arenas.

We are convinced that new ways of thinking and doing business are indispensable for Latin America to take advantage of the economic growth it has experienced recently, make it sustainable and achieve world class competitiveness. We would like this conference to serve as an inspiration to ignite new ideas and disruptive business models in Latin America and other emerging markets. MIT and MIT Sloan with its long tradition of innovation provide us the appropriate setting and mindset for this.

In addition to this, the MIT Latin Conference aims to enhance the public learning by getting first hand insight from current and distinguished leaders from the region. We are pleased to host the 11th Latin Conference, Innovation for Growth of the MIT Sloan School of Management that will be held on Friday April 4th and Saturday April 5th.
